Transmission
Transmission Options Suited to Your Needs
Two transmission options allow you to tailor your Farmall C tractor to your needs to let you be more productive in a variety of operating conditions.
The 12-speed PowerShuttle transmission is available for the 100C, 110C and 120C models. An optional creeper-ready kit is available.
The 24-speed Hi-Lo transmission is available for the 90C, 100C, 110C and 120C models.
Engine
Horsepower with No Regeneration
A 4-cylinder, 3.6-L FPT engine delivers constant maximum horsepower to ensure the best balance of power and fuel economy.
Common Rail Direct Injection: An electronic high-pressure, common rail fuel injection system precisely meters fuel as power demands, delivering performance with fuel efficiency. This fuel system also provides improved throttle response, fast recovery to load and quieter engine operation with less vibration.
Tier 4 B/Final Compliant: Engines use an internal Cooled Exhaust Gas Recirculation (CEGR) system to meet Tier 4 B/Final requirements.
No regeneration: The new Case IH Farmall C series tractors do not require a diesel particulate filter, avoiding downtime and increasing productivity with no regeneration. There’s no exhaust gas recirculation so oil won’t deteriorate.
Operator Environment
Visibility, Comfort and Control Built for You
Step into a new level of comfort and convenience. A new loader joystick puts all functions in one place with a memory button that lets you pair engine speed for repetitive operations.
ActiveClutch engages both brake and clutch with a single pedal push, facilitating smooth braking and clutching for seamless tractor operation in frequent start/stop operations like loader work.
A high-visibility roof panel improves sight lines for loader work, and a complete instrument panel puts all key tractor functions within sight.
Auto PTO allows for headland management support, automatically engages and disengages the PTO during a headland turn. Auto differential lock lets you automatically activate and deactivate differential lock.
An available integrated cab suspension increases operator comfort.
Hitches
A Hitch For Maximized Productivity
Heavy-duty 3 Point Hitch: Telescopic lower links and stabilizers simplify implement attachment. A single turnbuckle levels attachments.
Hitch Lift Capacities: 4,339 lb. 24 inches behind the pin
Extendable drawbar: An extendable drawar lets you customize hitched implements to your desired position or move the drawbar to keep it out of the way when not in use.
Linkage and Hydraulics
Heavy-Duty Hydraulics
Three-point linkage rear lift capacity has been increased a whopping 23 percent to allow hookup of heavier and larger implements, while the hydraulic pump increases maximum hydraulic flow to 21.7 GPM.
Rear remote configurations can be tailored to your needs, with up to 3 remotes and 8 couplers with one diverter.
PTO Options
Power Take-Off Options For Every Job
PTO configurations depend on the tractor model you choose. Standard and optional configurations include 540 rpm, 540/540E and 1,000 rpm. The 540/540E PTO option provides greater fuel efficiency during less-demanding applications.
Farmall 90C, 100C and 110C with 12x12 Transmission:
- Standard: 540 rpm
- Optional: 540/1,000 rpm
Farmall 90C, 100C and 110C with 24x24 Hi-Lo Transmission:
- 540/1,000 rpm
Farmall 120C with 12x12 or 24x24 Transmission:
- Standard: 540/540E rpm
- Optional: 540/1,000 rpm
Axles and Tires
The Right Traction and Tires for the Job
Choice is good. Whether cutting, putting up or hauling hay, cleaning cattle pens or moving snow and maintaining the farmstead, Farmall utility C series tractors deliver all the power and traction you need.
2WD or MFD
Choose the best option — depending on the traction and maneuverability your operation demands. The 2WD option is ideal for lighter field work and maximum maneuverability. Go with MFD for improved traction and increased power to the ground.
Tire Options
- R1 Tread - Agriculture/Bar – generate maximum traction. Standard tires for off-road use; farms, mud, and snow.
- R3 Tread - Turf – minimum turf disturbance, the ideal choice for mowing lawns, golf courses, gardens, and sandy soils.
- R4 Tread - Industrial/Utility - the tire of choice for working on hard surfaces like pavement and gravel plus ideal for loader/backhoe work.
Maintenance and Uptime
Quicker to the Job
A single-piece hood opens without tools to allow for easy access. Gas struts support the hood when open for access to engine components and checkpoints. Fueling is fast and easy with fuel-tank access from the ground or from the operator platform.
Check and fill engine oil without opening the hood. A 600-hour oil-change interval reduces downtime and maximizes uptime.
